Course details – Anger for Professionals (AP-1)
This accredited Zoom course (six hours CPD), next running September 20th 2025, will help you to understand and work with anger in the therapy room and your workplace. It is specifically for individual therapists, counsellors, nurses, doctors, police, social workers and anyone else faced with anger in the workplace. It is designed to support your understanding of anger and how you address anger in your clients and offers six hours accredited CPD.
I have developed unique models such as The Anger Engine. This original model maps the processes which drive angry outbursts and raises the possibility of interrupting the habitual trigger/behaviour dynamic and adopting healthier behaviours as well as deeper self-awareness.
You will learn key techniques to pass on to your clients which will help them manage their behaviour and express anger in a healthy way. You will receive guidance on how to remain calmer and contained when faced with an angry client. You will approach anger in your clients with more confidence and less fear and through your own understanding will be better placed to teach them that it is “OK to Feel Angry” and that anger can be expressed in a different way.
