Welcome. You may have been carrying more than usual lately — pushing through anxiety, low mood or self-criticism — and beginning to feel tired of coping alone. When thoughts feel relentless or relationships are strained, it can become difficult to find steadiness. Therapy offers a space to pause, make sense of what’s happening, and begin moving forward with greater clarity and care.
You might arrive with a specific difficulty in mind, or simply a sense that something isn’t quite right. In our early sessions, we take time to explore what you’ve been experiencing, how certain patterns may be maintained, and where they may have developed from. From there, we create a shared understanding and a clear, manageable plan for change.
My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is offered collaboratively and thoughtfully. I also draw from psychodynamic and schema approaches where helpful. Alongside practical tools for managing anxiety, low mood and emotional difficulties, I place strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. I aim to offer a space that feels calm, respectful and free from judgement.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. Starting therapy can feel daunting, and we can move at a pace that feels steady and manageable. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure where to start, we can work together to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and better able to move forward with self-compassion.
